Precious Children is our response to the situation many children face in India. The technological and economic advancement in India has done little to rehabilitate children affected by crime. There are thousands of children victimized by crime in the country. Majority of them are on the streets begging for food and eventually getting in to criminal activities. Since children are less suspicious, the drug lords use them to expand their business. Education, safety and health is under threat for these children. Government efforts to address the issue has just scratched the surface. Where is hope for these children? Who will venture to give them a safe, healthy and educated future?

Precious Children has 8 homes in India caring for about 650 children affected by crime. We provide these children a balanced diet, clothing, primary health care and education up to senior High School level. They are later provided skill training so that they can learn a trade and earn a fair living. We conduct education tours and picnics for these children. Some are academically brilliant and they continue their education in university. Some of the girls go for nursing while boys have opportunities for training in carpentry, refrigeration and air-conditioning, automobile engineering, electrical wiring courses etc……. Our goal is to assist them to learn a skill and find employment.
